Abstract – This essay is about university career and the brilliant and innovative works of Barone Adesi, full professor in Roman law and and Byzantine law. Indeed, he desires to return to Calabria, a bridge between East and West promontory on the Mediterranean, that role of place of peace, as “City of the sun”, as imagined by Tommaso Campanella, which would bring us back and bring us back to a new humanity.
