ABSTRACT – In the present paper the Author reflects upon the relevance to the present of the Lefebvrian droit à la ville presenting its main lines and some of its main interpretations. Thus, the Author shows the urgency of a reactivation of its critical potential, mainly in the political-philosophical field, as a crucial vehicle for the affirmation of citizens’ active role in the collective building of society.
