I riflessi della concezione ordinovista del potere sociale dal basso nel modello di democrazia economica-sociale recepito dalla costituzione italiana
DI GAETANO BUCCI
ABSTRACT – The present paper seeks to highlight the national and international
reasons that led to the split of the Italian Communist Party from the
Italian Socialist Party, and analyzes the characteristics of the aforementioned
split and its historical presuppositions. After this, an attempt is made
to underline the impact of the communist political conception of the ‘New
Order’, as “social power from below”, on the work of the Italian Constituent
Assembly and on the regulatory framework of the Italian Constitution
of 1948. Furthermore, the dynamics of economic democracy and social
policy, following the entry into force of the Italian Constitution, are reconstructed
in the various and alternating phases. Finally, the possibility
of a resumption of the ‘New Order’ political-constitutional vision and its
cultural matrices is argued in order to get out of the contemporary global
crisis, in the search of an alternative to the neoliberal model.
