Abstract – This article focuses on the Karlsruhe’s decision of the 5th of May 2020 on the Public Sector Purchase Programme (PSPP), the ECB’s programme of Quantitative Easing. It offers an accurate analysis of the German Constitutional Court’s judgement and it focuses especially on how the Karlsruhe’s Court considered the PSPP of ECB to be ultra vires because of disproportionate in its economic policy effects. This contribution gives also attention to the European Court of Justice’s judgement of the 11th of December 2018.
